| Domed D Series
"Jaw-Dome" models feature one piece unitized welded steel
construction, are light in weight and install in 30-60 seconds.
No assembly required. This series of Rhino Immobilizers features
the traditional Rhino Jaw-Dome (single jaw) attachment system. |
The inner arm with affixed wheel rim attachment jaw and wheel index
loop indexes quickly onto the inner wheel's outer rim edge
(flange), encapsulating it at the point of contact for positive
attachment. |

An assist spring aids in the installation of the immobilizer by
holding the inner immobilizer arm and jaw against the wheel
rim edge (flange) where it is indexed. The assist spring enables
the installer to use one hand to hold on to the immobilizer,
at the outer arm, while centering the dome and tightening
the Secur-Bolt. |
|
MITI-Rhino's stainless steel Secur-Bolt-Key system provides for
quick and secure immobilizer attachment. Holes at the bolt
tube are provided for use of an optional padlock &
padlock cover for additional security. The unique design
deters unauthorized removal of the wheel or immobilizer.
When tightened, the Secur-Bolt applies pressure against
the inner rotating arm, driving the jaw firmly against the
inner wheel's outer rim edge (flange) which is encapsulated
by the jaw. At contact the inward pressure is reversed, driving
the outer affixed and telescoping dome assembly (with protective
heading) against the outer wheel for positive attachment.

The dome prevents removal of the wheel. |

Tire stop (stabilizer), located on the inner side of the
immobilizer's outer arm, prevents side-to-side movement of
the immobilizer. |
|
Bi-directional stand design allows the immobilizer to
be attached to any vehicle wheel - front, rear, left or right
side. Unique to Rhino.
|
|
Baked-on environmentally safe safety orange coating provides
high visibility and superior rust protection. |
|
Each unit is shipped with one Secur-Key and one package
of immobilization tags. |
