PIVOT ASSEMBLY: Pivoting pipe is constructed of (3/4) Three Quarter Inch Schedule 40 Pipe which is (38) Thirty Eight Inches in Length. Pipe Length enables the Pivoting assembly to index into the punched receiving holes found on the inside of the assembly's ends. A (1 1/2) One and One Half by (35 1/2) Thirty Five and One Half Steel Angle is welded to one side of the spikes and Pivoting Pipe. The Angle serves to strengthen the spikes and too maintain their position during use, also keeps the spikes in the proper angle for use.

FRAME ASSEMBLY: Ends (1) One Inch by (2) Two Inch Rectangular Steel Tubing, each end is connected on the inside by means of a welded seam to a (3/4) Three Quarter Inch by (2) Two Inch Die formed 10 Gauge steel angle which protects user and spikes when folded in a down position. Die formed angle has two (3/8) Three Eighths Inch holes provided for staking or bolting unit to the roadway or ground. A (3/4) Three Quarter Inch Schedule 40 Steel Pipe also is welded between the two ends creating a single unitized frame assembly which is rigid and durable. Tubular pipe also serves as a stop for steel angle which is welded to the spike bar. Tubular Rectangle Ends are Punched and formed on the inside to receive the pivotal spike bar assembly. When unit is welded together the pivotal spike assembly is captured permanently between the ends. A pivotal movement either up or down is achieved through this unique design.

SPIKE BAR POSITION LOCK: One flip over pivoting (1/2) One Half inch Die formed steel rod lock assembly mechanism is welded to the right side of the frame assembly at the top of the rectangular steel end. Attachment to frame assembly is by means of a die formed and welded steel strap which when attached with the rod creates a hinged lock assembly.
