A. UNITIZED ONE PIECE CONSTRUCTION
No parts to lose or misplace, no assembly required. Encircles the tire and encapsulates the wheel and tire instantly. Fits narrow to wide cross-section tires. One person installation in 15-45 seconds. All steel components constructed of 1018 commercial quality steel.
B. IMMOBILIZER STAND
Pivots for attachment to any wheel. Provides for attachment to either front or back, driver's side or passenger side tires. Low 2 3/4" profile provides for attachment to vehicles with low slung ball joints or body profiles.
C. OUTER ARM AND HOOK-ARM ASSEMBLY
Rhino's unique wheel "hook-loc" design eliminates the need for immobilizer jaws that "bite" onto the wheel's rim. The inner hook arm is affixed by a hinge, the outer immobilizer arm is welded in place. Both are affixed to a tamper-proof "Secur-Bolt" box assembly, forming a unitized, tamper-proof one-piece assembly. The device also features a two level locking system which is achieved when a padlock is secured through the steel tube which houses the "Secur-Bolt".
Affixed and Hinged Inner Arm: Rhino's tamper-proof "Hook-Loc" design. Constructed of two separate pieces of 'A" x 2" die formed, laminated and rolled steel bar stock, totaling 4" x 2" after fabrication. Also features a diagonal support brace constructed of 10 gauge steel bar stock welded into place.

Inner arm: Grip range from two (2) to seventeen and one-half (17.5) inches. The arm is designed to encircle the wheel radially, encapsulating both tire and inner wheel rim, without having to remove the wheel's hub cap.

Inner arm pressure stops: Constructed of 10 gauge x 1" die formed steel bar stock which is welded into place just behind the outside outer tip of the inner hook-arm. This stop prevents the inner arm from continuing to rotate inwardly inside the wheel cavity when the Secur-Bolt is tightened, by stopping the arm when the stop meets the backing plate, wheel drum or tie rod end. This stop reverses the pressure when it meets a stopping or pressure point. This reversal of pressure pivots the immobilizer body and outer arm with dome assembly automatically back into the outer wheel. The pressure securely clamps the dome against the outer wheel and/or hubcap, covering the lug nuts and preventing removal.

Inner arm assist spring: A plated assist spring is connected from the inside of the hook arm to the bolt box housing. This spring aids in the installation of the immobilizer by pulling the pivoting inner arm inward toward the tire, thus maintaining pressure against the wheel and holding the device in place during installation.

Rigidly affixed Outer Arm: Self adjusting telescoping head, no assembly required. Constructed of I" x 2" die formed rectangular steel tubing for superior strength and function. 3/16" x 14" steel bar tire stop is permanently affixed on the inner side of the outer arm near the bolt box. This stop creates a truss effect at the bend of the outer arm near the bolt box, thus increasing the arm's strength. The outer arm is permanently affixed to the bolt box with a continuous welded seam. A tamper-proof telescoping assembly with a hingedly affixed dome (with protective edge heading) is affixed to the outer arm. This assembly provides a 3" adjustment of the dome, which allows it to be centered on the wheel during application. The dome assembly is designed to clamp directly against the outer wheel or hubcap without damage to either. The dome assembly also prevents removal of the wheel by accessing the lug nuts.

Spring-Loaded "Grabber" Tire Stop: The "Grabber" spring-loaded tire and rim stop is a permanently affixed to the inner edge of the immobilizer's outer arm. It is constructed of a heavy duty spring permanently housed in a 1 1/4" x  1 1/4" tubular box steel welded housing. The "Grabber" Index Plate is permanently affixed over the spring assembly, and its raised steel indexing points meet with the tire's outer sidewall when the device is applied. As the Secur-Bolt is tightened, the spring assembly compresses as the outer arm is tightened against the outside edge of the wheel. The spring loaded index plate prevents lateral rotation of the immobilizer after application, and also prevents removal of the device even if the tire is deflated, since the spring mounted plate maintains constant pressure against the tire's outer sidewall. The "Grabber" plate will not damage the tire's sidewall during installation.

D. ADJUSTABLE TELESCOPING DOME ASSEMBLY
TAMPER-PROOF DESIGN Constructed of die formed 14 gauge steel for superior strength. The assembly, with a hingedly affixed dome (with replaceable vinyl protective edge heading) is affixed to the outer arm. The assembly provides a 3" adjustment of the dome, which allows the dome as well as the "Grabber" plate to be properly positioned during installation. A functional 90° vertical sidewall is formed at the outer circumference of the dome, which distributes the attachment pressure evenly at the outer edge of the vehicle's wheel or hubcap, where it is stronger. The design is superior to other immobilizers which feature discs or plates that either center this pressure or stand off and away from the wheel or hubcap. The dome assembly is designed to clamp directly against the outer wheel or hubcap without damaging either, eliminating the gap between the dome and wheel. This gap is a common point where pry bars or other tools are inserted in an attempt to defeat the device. Additionally, any gap present may allow access to the wheel's lug nuts, which can result in the removal of the device.
1. Dome Specifications: 14 gauge die formed steel. HG-Series immobilizers are available with either 12" or 14" domes. 12" diameter x 2 3/4"' depth; 14" diameter x 3" depth. Dome depth provides for hubs, hubcaps, etc. to protrude into dome without damage. Custom dome sizes are available upon request.

2. Dome Protective Trim: Durable metal reinforced protective vinyl heading prevents damage to the wheel or hubcap.

3. Dome Hinge Assembly: 3/16" x 2" die formed steel bar hinge assembly is permanently welded to center top of dome. This tamper-proof assembly allows the dome to pivot or tip side to side automatically during the immobilizer's installation.
This action provides a snug fit against the outer wheel or hubcap, preventing removal. This also aids in centering the dome.

4. Dome Telescoping Assembly: Telescoping dome assembly sleeve is permanently affixed to the hinge at the dome. Sleeve is constructed of die formed 12 gauge steel, punched and overlaid with all seams welded. It is held in place on the outer arm by a hardened stop screw which can only be accesses or removed when the immobilizer is not installed on a vehicle. Provides easy maintenance, repair or change of dome assembly size.

E. OUTER ARM LENGTH (AFFIXED ADJUSTABLE DOME ASSEMBLY): 23 3/4" TO 26 3/4
F. PROTECTIVE VINYL TRIM Durable spring steel reinforced vinyl trim is affixed to dome edge to prevent damage to outer wheel or hubcap. Spring steel clips securely hold trim to edge of dome.
G. FIT HG-Series models fit all USA and foreign vehicles, light trucks, mobile equipment, house or boat trailers, etc., including those with extra wide an/or oversized wheels. Note: A brake system must be present on trailers for the H, HG and HRV Series to install. For trailers without braking systems use the D or DRV Series.
H. STEEL CONSTRUCTION Unitized, light weight, one piece die formed steel construction. Provides superior durability, dependability and is easily repairable, for many years of service life. No cast steel or aluminum parts to break or corrode. No parts to assemble or lose. For use in all weather conditions.
I. SECUR-BOLT LOCKING SYSTEM AND KEY Tamper-proof housing constructed of 1/8" rectangular tubing with 1 1/4" steel pipe permanently welded to the outer arm and housing. No cables or lock covers to contend with.
1. Tamperproof housing assembly: Protects and keeps the Secur-bolt assembly permanently aligned. The affixed tube protects the bolt from damage and prevents unauthorized persons from attempting to loosen it with pliers when in the installed position. Housing tube has holes provided for attachment of padlock and optional lock cover to provide a multi-leveled locking system, if desired.

2. Three-quarter inch (3/4") stainless steel threaded nut and custom machined 3/4" threaded, hardened and plated Secur-bolt provides gall resistance and superior locking performance. When tightened the bolt applies leveraged pressure against the inner immobilizer arm and pivots into a closed position around the vehicle's wheel. The custom machined offset lug at the bolt's end prevents removal without a Secur-Key.

3. A custom Secur-Bolt Key is provided with each immobilizer on smaller orders and fits the custom machined head of the Secur-Bolt, which is designed to prevent unauthorized removal of the immobilizer should either a padlock not be used or a used padlock be defeated. On larger orders, one Secur-Key is provided for every three (3) devices. Optional padlock, with or without lock cover is used for additional security and protection only. Optional padlock is recommended.

J. PADLOCKS AND COVERS: Optional for additional security. Used separately or together create a multi-tiered locking system. A three tiered locking system is created with the use of both a padlock and an optional lock cover.
K. COATING: High visibility, non toxic environmentally safe custom "Safety Orange" powder coating is applied and baked on each immobilizer at 425 degrees, providing superior rust and corrosion protection. Meets or exceeds all EPA, OSHA and DOT specifications.
L. WEIGHT: Compact and lightweight. Model HG-12: 20 lbs. Model HG-14: 21 lbs.

Ratchet extension Secur-Keys are available in place of MITI's standard Secur-Keys, without any additional charge. On smaller orders, each immobilizer is delivered with one Secur-Key. Additional keys available.
