MADE IN THE USA

A. UNITIZED, ONE PIECE CONSTRUCTION
NO PARTS TO LOSE OR MISPLACE. NO ASSEMBLY REQUIRED! Encircles tire and attaches to wheel instantly. It cannot be removed by deflation of tire. Fits narrow to wide cross section tires. One person installation in only 30-60 seconds!
B. IMMOBILIZER STAND (LEGS) PIVOTS FOR ATTACHMENT TO ANY WHEEL
Provides for attachment to either front or rear of any wheel, both front or back vehicle wheels. Low 2 3/4" profile provides for attachment to vehicles with low slung ball joints or body profiles.
C. JAWS RHINO'S UNIQUE SINGLE JAW-TO-DOME ATTACHMENT ELIMINATES THE POSSIBILITY OF DAMAGE TO THE OUTER WHEEL. Only one inner jaw is required on the Rhino D Series immobilizer. The design incorporates an inner jaw which is permanently affixed to the inner pivoting arm. The jaw attaches to the inner wheel's outer rim edge (flange): simultaneously the outer arm - with adjustable, telescoping and pivoting dome assembly - centers and clamps the attached dome with protective edge heading firmly against the outer wheel. Both outer and inner immobilizer arms are welded in place at the tamperproof Secur-Bolt box assembly, forming a unitized, tamperproof one piece assembly which is light weight, easy to handle and simple to install.
Jaw & Wheel Index Loop - Affixed to Hinged Inner Arm: Rhino single jaw, self indexing design. Jaw is constructed of one-piece 1/2" x 3" extruded and die formed steel channel welded in place to a 1/8"  l 1/2 x 2" steel stem at the outer inside end of the inner pivoting immobilizer arm. Welded in place on the outer side of the jaw, a steel wheel indexing loop aids in the alignment and centering of the jaw on the wheel's edge (flange). Grip range is from 2" to 9" for DC models, 2" to 11 1/2" for DS models and 2" to 16 1/2" for DRV models. Inner pivoting arm and affixed jaw with index loop is designed to encircle the tire and wheel radially, enabling the index loop to index automatically within the wheel's cavity and allowing the jaw to seat onto the inner wheel's outer edge (flange) for encapsulated metal to metal contact. The outer arm is designed to hold the dome assembly with protective edge trim directly against the wheel or hubcap. NOTE: The Rhino D Series Single Jaw-to-Dome attachment method, in place of the jaw-to-jaw attachment method or double jaw, eliminates damage to the outer wheel's edge (flange) ENTIRELY while also eliminating the space between the dome wheel cover and wheel in which pry bars are often inserted in an attempt at forcible, unlawful removal.

Inner Arm Assist Spring: A plated assist spring is connected from the inside of the outer arm to the bolt box housing. This spring aids in the installation of the immobilizer by pulling the pivoting inner arm inward, thus maintaining pressure against the inner wheel.

Rigidly Affixed Outer Arm With Self Adjusting Telescoping Domed Head:
NO ASSEMBLY REQUIRED. Constructed of 1"x 2" die formed rectangular steel tubing for superior strength and function. 3/16 x l 1/2" die formed steel bar tire stop is permanently affixed on inner side of outer arm near bolt box. This stop serves two functions: first, it meets the tire and prevents side to side movement of the immobilizer. Second, it creates a truss effect at the bend in the outer immobilizer arm near the bolt box, increasing the arm's strength. The outer arm is permanently affixed to the bolt box with a continuous welded seam.

D. ADJUSTABLE TELESCOPING DOME ASSEMBLY TAMPERPROOF DESIGN
Constructed of die formed 12 & 14 gauge steel for superior strength. The assembly, with a hingedly affixed dome (with protective edge heading) is affixed to the outer arm. This assembly provides a 3" adjustment of the dome, which allows it to be centered on the wheel during installation. A functional 90° vertical sidewall is formed at the outer circumference of the dome, which distributes the attachment pressure evenly at the outer edge of the vehicle's wheel or hubcap, where it is stronger. This design is superior to immobilizers which feature discs that center the pressure or stand off from the wheel or hubcap. The dome assembly is designed to clamp directly against the outer wheel or hubcap without damage to either, eliminating the gap between the dome and wheel or hubcap in which pry bars or other tools are often inserted in an attempt at forcible removal of the immobilizer and/or the wheel.
Dl. Dome specifications: 14 GAUGE DIE FORMED STEEL AVAILABLE WITH 10" (DC MODELS). 12" AND 14" (DS & DRV MODELS) DOMES. 10" dia. x 2%" depth; 12" dia x 2%" depth; 14" dia. x 3" depth. Dome depth provides for hubs, hubcaps, etc. to protrude into the dome without damage. Reduced access behind dome cover. Custom dome sizes also available.

D2. Protective trim: Durable metal reinforced protective vinyl heading prevents damage to wheel or hubcap.

D3. Hinge assembly: 3/16" x 2" die formed steel bar hinge assembly is permanently welded to center top of dome. This tamperproof assembly allows the dome to pivot or tip side-to-side automatically during the immobilizer installation. This action provides a snug fit against the outer wheel or hubcap, which aids in preventing forcible removal. Also aids in centering the dome.

D4. Dome assembly sleeve: Telescoping dome assembly sleeve is permanently affixed to the hinge at the dome. Assembly is constructed of die formed 14 gauge steel, punched and overlaid with all seams welded. It is held in place on the outer arm by a stop screw which can only be accessed or removed when the immobilizer is not installed on a vehicle. Provides easy maintenance, repair or change of dome assembly size.

D5. Conversion: Your service personnel can be trained to easily remove the dome assembly head affixed to the immobilizer in order to install a larger or smaller size dome assembly. This is beneficial to small departments that wish to have all dome sizes available but cannot afford additional immobilizers. Additional dome assemblies optional.

E. ARM LENGTH INNER: DC & DS models 13 3/4", DRV models 15 3/4"
                               OUTER: DC & DS models 21 3/4"-24 3/4", DRV models 23 3/4"-26 3/4"
F. PROTECTIVE VINYL TRIM Durable spring steel reinforced vinyl trim is affixed to dome edge to prevent damage to outer wheel or hubcap. Spring steel reinforcing securely holds trim to dome.

I. SECUR-BOLT LOCKING ASSEMBLY & KEY Tamperproof housing constructed of 1/8" rectangular tubing with I 'A" steel pipe permanently welded to the outer arm and housing.
No cables or lock covers to lose or contend with.
I1. Tamperproof housing assembly protects and keeps the Secure-Bolt assembly permanently aligned. The affixed tube protects the bolt from damage and prevents unauthorized persons from loosening it with pliers when it is in the installed position. Housing tube has two holes provided for attachment of optional padlock, with or without lock cover, for additional security.

I2. Three-quarter inch (3/4") stainless steel threaded nut and custom machined 3/4" threaded and plated steel Secure-Bolt provides gall resistance and superior locking performance. When tightened the bolt applies leveraged pressure against the inner immobilizer arm and pivots it into a closed position on the vehicle's wheel.

I3. A custom Secur-Bolt Key is provided with each immobilizer and fits the head of the Secur-Bolt which is machined to prevent unauthorized removal of the immobilizer should a padlock not be used. Optional padlock, with or without lock cover, is used for additional security protection only.

I4. Bolt box width varies for DC, DS and DRV models. This width difference enables the inner jaw to be horizontally and vertically square with the wheel edge (flange) for a securer attachment. Bolt box widths: DC models 3", DS models 4", DRV models 6".

J. PADLOCKS & COVERS OPTIONAL FOR ADDITIONAL SECURITY  Used separately or together to create a 2-tier or 3-tier locking system.
