ATTACHMENT INSTRUCTIONS

MITI-RHINO "PB" ENFORCER SERIES VEHICLE IMMOBILIZERS
With little practice your MITI-RHINO Vehicle immobilizer can be securely attached to a vehicles wheel in 30-60 seconds or less. Dual stand design provides for attachment to either the, front or rear of a wheel, left or right wheel, front or back wheel. As vehicle design may limit installation to a
specific wheel your MITI-Rhino immobilizers design will provide you maximum flexibility and function. Simply turn over immobilizer to use in a different direction or to attach to a different wheel.
CAUTION: Make sure traffic area is clear of traffic before attempting attachment!
1. Place your MITI-RHINO immobilizer on the ground with the locking bolt tube cover unlocked and open, bolt tube facing away from the vehicle, insert the Secur-Key into the bolt tube, push in while rotating the key until the Secur-Bolts machined head indexes into the key. Rotate the Secur-Key counter clock-wise until you are able to fully open the inner Immobilizer jaw. Leave the
key in place.

2. Check to insure that the dome will fit down flush with the wheel, wheel trim disk or hub cap. If not you may have to remove the wheel trim disk or hubcap.

3. Pick up immobilizer with both hands, or as an alternative, place the bottom of the stand on the ground or pavement directly in front of the wheel you wish to attach the immobilizer to. Then follow steps 5, 6 and 7.

4. While holding the immobilizer arms open, slide the inner immobilizer arms tip along the inside of the tire until you feel the tip fall into place between the wheel and the wheels backing plate or wheel drum. Visually check or feel with fingers to insure that the immobilizers inner arm tip is in place and
engaged within the inner wheel. If the inner immobilizer arms tip is not properly engaged or is merely resting on the tire the Immobilizer cannot be properly installed. The tip must be indexed into the wheel between the wheels backing plate or wheel drum.

5. Engage outer dome against the outer wheel or hub cap as you perform the above procedure. Adjust the dome to properly center on the wheel as you bring it into position. Note: The tension spring will aid in the attachment process.

6. When the immobilizer is properly in position hold it in place while you tighten the Secur-Bolt. Remember to turn the Secur-Bolt clock-wise until the inner immobilizer arm and outer immobilizer dome is snugly attached to the wheel. It is normal for the self centering guide located on the inner side of the outer arm to bite into and dent in the tire at point of contact, this will not damage the tire. If you are immobilizing a vehicle with small tires leave the removable guide in place. If you are immobilizing a vehicle with large tires remove the removable guide. CAUTION: DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN AS YOU MAY DAMAGE HUB CAP OR YOUR MITI-RHINO BOOT. Remove Secur-Key, Lock cover by slamming it shut. Remove key. You should check the locking cover to insure it has properly locked. This procedure is simply accomplished by tapping the Secur-Key against the stop screw located on the top of the locking cover. Tap briskly in the direction the cover moves outward when opening. If it pops out check for debris or other and repeat the locking procedure.

7. Fill out and attach the immobilization Notice to the vehicle in plain view.

8 . REMOVAL : Reverse the above procedure .
