Patron Software Functions / Features:

Patron, Wake Up Mode
Commences when Radar Detector detects someone approaching
the terminal. May be adjusted to prevent passing vehicles
from setting off the mode. Also can be disabled if you wish.
Also activates the LCD and Touch Screen. |

Voice Messaging
Welcomes Patron as he or she walks up to the terminal,
gives short veifoalized selection instruction. Messages can
be easily re-recorded by your staff, changed to your liking,
or to coincide, in the event you modify your selection and
text screens. |

Tool Bar
Located at the Bottom of the LCD, provides Patron with
ability to access key screens such as |

Language Selection
If enabled a screen message for each language, which is
programmed and available, will appear for touch selection.
You determine which languages are to be programmed for use
at setup, and voice as well as text messaging can be readily
created and set to automatically activate upon the patrons
selected choice. A Text and Voice messaging list is provided
to aid your linguist in the creation of both the on-screen
text which will appear and the accompanying voice messaging.
International visitors will be most pleased! |

No additional Language Selection
If you do not set up for additional languages other than
English, English is the default and no language choice screen
will be displayed. |

Parking Fee Rate Selection Screen
|
| This
screen sets the default programming mode (Type of Parking Fee Strocture)
for rates to be charged. Through settings at set up, can
be made to allow for, IE. For "Pay By Space", "Pay &
Display" or "Pay On Foot" or any combination desired, and
to control multiple lots, differently if desired. If "Pay
By Space" is selected Patron wiU be prompted to enter his
space number, and required to select time of stay before
paying, and upon paying will be vended a receipt with expire
time. If "Pay On Foot" patron will receive Bar Coded Ticket
upon entiy through a gated entry, and go to terminal at checkout
to pay for the elapsed time, a grace period will be given to exit,
and the bar coded ticket utilized a second time to exit The
Bar coded ticket will then be void. If "Pay & Display",
Patron will park. Pay for parking in advance at the terminal.
Note: Any number of rate calculation or term method scenarios
may be implemented here for making system user friendly and
to handle rates properly. Once the Patron has selected and
paid he or she will return to their automobile and place
ticket on dash for viewing by enforcement personnel. A large
expire date & time will be printed on the receipt. Merchant
refund receipts can be vended for any payment means. |

Fee
Selection Screen |
| This
screen will give the Patron choices such Parking, By Lot, Space,
Date, Time, Etc„ or Other such as Campus activities. Note: The
MV-I can display a Alpha Numerical Key Board for input of
ID Number, Vehicle License/ID Number, State, Zip Code Numbers,
or any other information you may wish to obtain from the Patron
for enforcement purposes. Pay By Space applications, any number
of lots may be designated with alpha or alpha numerical
headers. Space numbers under each lot header can be identical
to another lot as long as you have a different lot header
identifier for each lot In addition you can, at will, assign
different rates to any space or group of spaces within a
lot at any given time, and for any period, make any space
a reserved site, or unavailable site, with or without input of other
identifiers, etc., etc., etc. Absolutely No limitations!! I HAVE
IT YOUR WAY!! |

Subsequent Screen - If required for additional input This set
of screens can allow input of number of people (also Adults/Children),
days, space number etc. Patron Move Space Mode Optionally
set for allowance, by insertion of Bar Coded Parking Receipt/Permit,
the MV-I Terminal will allow the Patron to self move his/her
space and remaining time. Can enable for Management or Attendant
only if desired. If new space is higher in value the Terminal
will compute the difference and ask for additional funds.
You will have the option as to allow or disallow refund via
hopper or voucher in the event the new space is lower in
cost Patron Checkout - Exit Park Mode This feature may be
utilized for automatic clearing of a space to make it available
for another Patron should the previous Patron leave early. A small
refund could be associated with check out to encourage self
check out. Feature may be enabled if desired. |

Access
Smart Card Enabled
Only Persons with a custom and controlled Pariong Office
coded smart card with personalized PIN number may access the
MV-I Terminal at the Terminal. These individuals can be assigned
differing levels of access per their need, and per your restrictions.
Access to the inside of the Terminal and certain key functions
can be readily limited, and such access recorded by occurrence
at the Terminal, through the use of this smart card key &
associated individualized pin number. For added security
these cards can be de-authorized in seconds through the Host
Office Computer and MV-I Management Software package via
Pass Word Protected modem connection with the MV-1 Terminal. |
